I was in a hurry by then. I badly need to satisfy my hunger. So, Lanie and I went to the nearest mall to find something that can satisfy our stomach.
It was a tough decision where to eat because we do really have a very limited budget, a very limited time and a very limited taste. We often eat in fast foods like McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Greenwhich, Kenny Roger's and Jolibee. We do not consider Wendy's because of it's so detailed hamburgers. You know, I hate hamburgers with so much stuffs, like tomato, lettuce, onion, and any other foreign objects that are not yet known in my diet.
Since, time, money and taste is our criteria, fastfoods can't be in the winning place because fastfoods may be the champion in time and money, fastfoods are still very limited to the same taste every fastfood can offer. So, fastfood do not satisfy the third criteria. haha!
We really want to eat in something we haven't tried before. I mean, we always want our eating sessions special. So, after a thirty minute food hunting adventure. We arrived to this miniature booth inside the food court. So, it was just like any other booths there except for its way of serving the food.
The food is wrapped in a banana leaf. This is how our uncivilized ancient ancestors eat their foods. Basically, the banana leaf acts as a plate or sort of.
This store is "BINALOT." They offer Filipino known cuisines in banana leaf wrappings. All meals are serve with a salted egg and tomato, a perfect dining experience for those who want to know how Filipinos really eat.
OMG. Do we consider this BINALOT STORE a fastfood? I think so. [sigh]
Next time your friends ask you out, consider BINALOT in your dining experience.
