I’m now in UP MANILA
Sudden change of college choice. I dropped my economics course in UST and enrolled for BA Political Science in the College of Arts and Sciences in the University of the Philippines Manila. I'm not yet officially enrolled since I still have things to do before they will give the UP FORM 5 to me but I already have the admission slip.
Goodbye to the royal university, I prefer being in the top university. =] But I do really want to experience a Thomasian life .. unfortunately I have dreams that I need to pursue and fulfill. I got a problem with the refund of my tuition fee in UST. They'd already remove my name in the official list of the students who will attend their classes on June 10 but they don't want to give back my tuition unless after three weeks.
Hey, UST ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT, tomorrow will be the assessment of the fees i need to pay (UP Manila Accounting Division), we're not that rich to produce another tuition fee. GIVE IT BACK, i suggest .. you do it FAST!
Yes, I am now in UP. So for all the peyups out there (UPian), I'll be in Manila. I'm so tired, I can't do anything but to subject myself to their instructions. I hate the way government universities do their enrollment, it's so complicated and tiring. Can't it be like UST? I felt bad this day since I have to do the chest x-ray, dental exam, medical-physical exam, dropping of course (UST), enrolling (UP), and psycho test .. all in one day. I now know why life is complicated .. It's BECAUSE OF INSTITUTIONS LIKE UP. But I believe that this what makes a complete UPIan, to survive in an impossible task.

National Flag Day
Republic of the Philippine's National Flag (Pambansang Watawat)
Today is Philippine's National Flag Day. I know that you don't care, that's the reason why this post is created. I want you to care.
Let me tell you a little about our flag. The flag is horizontally divided into two fundamental colors, royal blue and scarlet red, with a white equilateral triangle based at the hoist side. At the center of the triangle is a golden yellow sun with eight primary rays, each containing three individual rays, and at each corner of the triangle is a five-pointed golden yellow star. The flag is displayed with the blue field on top in time of peace, and with the red field on top in time of war.
The Philippine flag is unique in the sense that it can indicate a state of war when the red field is displayed on top, or on the observer's left when the flag is displayed vertically, with the white equilateral triangle at the top end.
According to official sources, the white triangle stands for equality and fraternity; the blue field for peace, truth and justice; and the red field for patriotism and valor. The eight primary rays of the sun represent the first eight provinces (Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Manila, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, and Tarlac) that sought independence from Spain and were placed under martial law by the Spaniards at the start of the Philippine Revolution in 1896. The three stars represent the three major geographical divisions of the country: Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
The flag was first conceptualized by Emilio Aguinaldo. The first flag was sewn in Hong Kong by Marcela Agoncillo, her daughter Lorenza, and Doña Delfina Herbosa de Natividad, niece of José Rizal, the Philippines' national hero.
Detailed Image of the Sun
Given situations like flag raisings and national anthem's playing, we must display respect and give honor to the flag at all times. And make sure that while wearing a three stars and a sun shirt (a popular ensign for the republic of the Philippines), you really show what and who Filipino's are.

It’s David
David Cook won the 7th title of the world-known singing contest series "American Idol." After a battle between the teen prodigy David Archuleta, 17, Cook won by a margin of 12 million votes. America casted 97.5 million votes, which is out-of-the-record, to finally decide the winner of the much hyped "Idol" battle between the two David's.
David Cook sang Collective's Soul's "The World I Know" which according to Simon Cowell, popular for his in-depth criticism, is a non-match to Archuleta's "Imagine." Cowell did even said that it's a knockout for Archuleta.
But Simon apologized to David Cook, realizing when came back home to watch it that it wasn't that clear cut as he called it. Cook said that he didn't think Cowell's comment are worth apologizing. "An apology from Simon is a pretty rare gem,"as he told it.
Sadly, American Idol's average viewers is on a straight decline for two years, averaging this season to 28 million viewers from last season's 30 million viewers.

it's Archuleta, for me!
